The method

How we work out your size

  1. 1

    Measure your band

    Tape snug around your ribcage, just below your bust and level all round. Round to the nearest whole inch; if it's odd, add 1 (31″ becomes band 32).

  2. 2

    Measure your bust

    Tape loosely around the fullest part of your chest, level with the floor and not pulled tight.

  3. 3

    Find your cup

    Subtract your band from your bust. Each inch of difference is one cup size.

  • The band is snug but you can slide two fingers underneath
